We are dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions. Habitat welcomes volunteers and supporters from all backgrounds and also serves people in need of decent housing regardless of race or religion.

Senior Living Help assists Wisconsin senior citizens, their family members and caregivers in finding appropriate senior living and care facilities. Many elderly adults are no longer able to be cared for at home, so finding a senior living facility with caring and loving staff becomes necessary. Residents can call on Senior Living Help for this free service.
There are 20 assisted living facilities in WALWORTH, WI area. These facilities provide assisted living units and help with everyday tasks to Wisconsin seniors. WALWORTH assisted living facilities also provide memory care assistance for elderly senior citizens with dementia and Alzheimer's disease. Some facilities are part of larger senior living communities and provide continuing care options.

White River Trail
This multi-use 12 mile crushed limestone trail follows a former railroad bed and connects the City of Elkhorn to Burlington and passes through the historic Villages of Lyons and Springfield. The trail offers scenic views of farmland, wetlands and waterways. Uses for this trail include hiking, biking, snowmobiles and a two-mile adjacent horse trail is open between Springfield and Lyons.
A State Bicycle Trail pass is required. Passes can be purchased in Elkhorn at Deakins Isle, Elkhorn Chamber of Commerce, Walworth County Visitors Bureau and the Walworth County Public Works Department. In Springfield, passes can be purchased at Pedal and Cup in the historic train depot (www.pedalandcup.com) and in Lyons at Lyon's Grocery Store. Passes can also be purchased at four self-registration stations on the trail. The stations are located in the parking lots along the trail on County Trunk Highway H and County Trunk Highway NN, at State Highway 120 in Springfield and at Spring Valley Road.

Alzheimer Support is a free service that assists Lyons families who have loved ones with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia. Through our free search tool and database of Alzheimer’s care facilities, families in need of care for their loved ones can locate licensed care homes and communities in the Lyons area that are best equipped to provide care for their loved ones.
