LYONS BIODIVERSITY WORKSHOP
You are invited to the 5th Annual Lyons Biodiversity Project Workshop on Saturday April 11, from 8:00 a.m. to Noon at the Lyons Town Hall. You may attend virtually if you cannot make it in person. Please register here through our secure link.
We have put together another exciting program this year and expect a large turnout. Presenters and topics include:
- Hank and Becky Newell, their property restoration project
- Linda Skiles: restoration with goats
- Tommy Gunn, American Bird Conservancy (ABC): updates on Oak Woodland Restoration Funding. Hear from Walworth County residents about their experience with this program.
- Mark Lesko from SENO/LBP: Conservation Easements
- Dr. Jim Giocommo, American Bird Conservancy (ABC): bird status and habitat in Lyons
- Friends of Hillmoor: updates on their restoration project
- Len Wardzala: collecting bird data, (Merlin, Ebird and GIS)
