Tri- County Riders 31st Annual Toy Run for Love Inc. will be rolling through Lyons on Sept 7th.
For this year’s event Tri- County Riders have named Lyons as the final meeting place for the participants to assemble before heading back to Burlington for the final events of the day. Upwards of 300 bikes are expected.
Town of Lyons Fire Department will assist the Run by escorting the riders to Burlington. via Spring Valley Road. The parade will meet up with Burlington Police near the Aurora Center who will accompany them the rest of the way.
Please drive safely, keep your eyes out for motorcycles, and respect the riders and the great work that they do for this event.
For the past 23 years, Chris Campbell, owner of the Village Tap, Lyons, and her cohort, Wendy Melson have been collecting money to purchase bikes to be donated to the cause.
