Bridge Closure Impacts White River Trail Access

(ELKHORN, WI): Effective immediately, the White River Trail is blocked between the Town of Lyons and Spring Valley Road due to a bridge closure resulting from water damage. Trail users are advised that crossing the bridge and traversing the entire 2.5-mile segment is not possible at this time. Both ends of the trail segment are open, and trail users can still access up to 1.8 miles east from Lyons and 0.7 miles west from Spring Valley Road. The reopening date is yet to be announced. We regret any inconvenience this may cause and will provide updates as soon as they are available.
