Per Wisconsin Department of Administration estimates at January 1st, 2021 there were 3,748 residents. This represents an increase of 50 (1.4%) residents since the 2010 census. Over the same time, Walworth County population has increased by 2,531 (2.5%) residents and the State of Wisconsin has increased by 213,764 (3.8%) residents. Approximately 2,894 of the residents in the Town of Lyons are of voting age.

Garbage and Recycling Pick up Schedule
The Town of Lyons does not provide trash collection. All residents must contract individually with haulers for their trash and recycling pick-up. The following are haulers available in the Town of Lyons:

By ordinance every resident and business is required to recycle. The Town provides a "drop-off" sight at 1588 Mill St, Riverview Park. Recycling is collected at this sight twice per month, usually on the second and 4th Saturday.
