REGULATION OF SMOKE AND FIRE

The Town of Lyons would like to remind all of the residents that burning
leaves on municipal streets and roads is strictly forbidden! Burning on
the pavement destroys essential oils in the black top and may cause dips
and other permanent damage to the road surface.

Although burning is allowed throughout the entire Township, you may be
subject to penalties if burning on the municipal streets, roads, or alleys.
